Q Learning Objective: This activity will allow us to begin practicing college-level/academic texts analysis. Directions: To begin our course, I want us to read a speech given by author Neil Gaiman which discusses why reading for pleasure particularly is important, and the integral role libraries play in society and creating literate, more empathetic citizens. Step 1: Carefully read through "Why Our Future Depends on Libraries" by Neil Gaiman. Read it slowly! Read it twice! Annotate it! Follow these steps: • Click on “Submit Assignment.” o Choose “File Upload” o click “Choose File” o find your file o click “Choose” o check the box next to “I certify” o click “Submit Assignment.” Grading: You will receive full points for this assignment as long is the worksheet is completed in full.
